Inger joined Ruark Insurance Advisors, Inc. in January, 2001 and is involved in all aspects of the company including reinsurance brokering and reporting, treaty negotiations, consulting, and peer reviews. She is the editor of Ruark Reports, our periodic newsletter, and is also our webmaster.

Inger has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry and prior to joining RIA, she most recently served as Assistant Vice President & Actuary at CIGNA Reinsurance, where she was involved the development, pricing, and financial management of reinsurance solutions for many products including Variable and Equity Indexed annuities. She also has diverse experience in group and individual insurance lines of business, both at CIGNA and Travelers Insurance Company.

Inger is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned her BA in Mathematics with highest honors. She currently lives in Farmington, Connecticut with her husband, Skip. Her youngest son attends Lafayette College and her oldest son is a Lieutenant in the army currently stationed in Alaska.
