Susan Murray

Susan joined Ruark Insurance Advisors in January, 2003 with over 16 years experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, Susan served for 6 years as an Actuarial Consultant for Tillinghast, where she was involved in software development. Susan also has diverse experience from her time at CIGNA, having held positions in the Individual Life, Pension, and Healthcare divisions.

At RIA, Susan is involved in all aspects of the company, including consulting, reinsurance reporting, and peer review.

Susan is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where she earned a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Industrial Management. She currently lives in Granby, Connecticut with her husband and three kids. She is an avid golfer and tennis player, and may have joined the company for the Bermuda connection. Despite her expertise in Industrial Management, Susan has shown no interest in RIA Plant Operations, where positions in plumbing and snow removal go unfilled.
